Rochel Leah “Roxi” Goldblatt (she/her)
Hi Nusies! My name is Roxi…aka, the name on everybody’s lips!
I’m just a Vegas girl standing in front of a Brooklyn borough asking it to love me!
Also, I’m a fan of theatre. Obviously.
I’m a lapsed journalist who dabbles in fantastic drunk poetry and cringe sober poetry.
I fangirl with the best of them, loving all things magic, Greek mythology, Disney, Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, Shakespeare, etc.
I’m also a bit of a chaos demon and an outdoor cat.
I love making my own cosplay (I don’t sew but I’m besties with my hot glue gun) and I’m lyrically challenged. That doesn’t ever stop me from singing loud and proud, and very off-key (#sorrynotsorry).
Besides the theatre, I love reading and buying books (two separate hobbies), making bad art and looking at good art, taking road trips and exploring new places, summer nights and fireflies, my friends and family and the ocean.
My one and only theatre credit was understudy for Scout in a local production of To Kill A Mockingbird when I was in the fifth grade.
My dream roles (if I could sing on-key and act without stage fright) are Mrs. Lovett and Little Red.
My first Broadway show was Little Shop of Horrors.
My top musicals are: Back to the Future, The Outsiders, Maybe Happy Ending, Sweeney Todd, The Lightning Thief, Bandstand, Newsies, Falsettos and Bare: A Pop Opera.
Also…Heathers, Hunchback, Little Shop, The Prom, How to Dance in Ohio, Something Rotten, Six, Legally Blonde, A Musical About Star Wars and Starlight Express.
Favourite plays include The Lehman Trilogy, To Kill A Mockingbird, Puffs, A Midsummer’s Night Dream, The Play That Goes Wrong and Oh, Mary.
I could keep going, but I’ve already MASSIVELY overshared.
Thanks for reading. Feel free to reach out and introduce yourself and share your favourite musicals and plays!

Perle Goldblatt, Former Creative Director
When she was little, she colored all over the walls of my room. Now she mostly sticks to sketchbooks. A Pratt graduate (3D Animation), she often tells people her nerdiness is her greatest superpower. She’s a Gryffindor, a caffeine addict, a daughter of Athena, mermaid in a past life, and lover of all things Broadway. Her first show was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, the first cast album she ever fell in love with was Into the Woods, her first Broadway show was Wicked, and her first time backstage was Aladdin at the New Amsterdam. She has a freakishly good memory for lyrics, and one of her favorite creative outlets is creating fan art for shows. Some of her other favorite shows include Bandstand, Once on This Island and Be More Chill.
